How we work

We provide vulnerable people with a place they can call home with the support they need to live safe, stable, healthy lives

Providing vulnerable people with a place they can call home with the support they need to live safe, stable, healthy lives is our priority.

We work in a multi agency setting to give them the best chance of gaining skills and confidence to be successful in life – whatever that might look like for them.

Every client has a support worker and together they formulate an individual support plan. Progress towards achieving goals is monitored and regularly reviewed and recorded on a specifically tailored Charms data base.

Key areas of support include living on a budget, cooking, parenting skills, citizenship, healthy lifestyles, attending appointments, education and job seeking.

Every member of staff has a personal development plan, regular supervision and undertakes training to equip them for their roles.

Staff often attend multi agency meetings to give input, particularly where vulnerable families are concerned.

The charity raises funds for confidence building activity short breaks which clients help to organise. We employ a housing support officer to help with benefits claims etc.
