Our Story

For more than 20 years we have worked hard to develop innovative, responsive, high quality care solutions for children, young people and families.

Our expertise and passion are reflected in our Ofsted and CQC inspection results, our positive feedback from partners and, importantly, from the people we work with.

We have a host of regional health and social care awards to our name and are particularly proud of two national awards – the National Care Employer of the Year (The National Children & Young People Awards) and The National Housing with Care Award (Great British Care Awards).

Our innovation and desire to see young people move successfully into adulthood and independence has led to the ongoing development of our Stay Close to Home model. We already have numerous examples of how young people have moved within our services post 18 are able to maintain relationships with team members they are familiar with.

Every year we invite our own people to be part of an ongoing discussion around what they want and need to better thrive in what they do. By using the internationally-recognised Gallup Q12 benchmarking tool, we track and improve engagement, making our teams even more effective. And this, in turn, benefits the children, young people and families we work alongside.

“Without doubt ROC Group’s core values, leadership and management skills and employee engagement have been the drivers behind better scores, in some areas, than Gallup’s global award winners from over 150 countries word-wide.”  - Jim Cowan, Chairman, Value the Person International.
